I received an SMS this afternoon letting me know that a waitlist had cleared. I have put together a family J saver itinerary for Christmas and glad that it had cleared so quickly.
When I logged in to confirm the flights I checked the SMS a little closer. It was sent today (1 Aug) and requesting me to confirm prior to 14 July. hmm...even the booking reference (ie QT82YE) that was included had been cancelled a few months ago.
Just received an email "Dear Sir/Madam, QT82YE Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Thank you".
Nice to see that even my cancelled booking references have remained friends.
Anyone else been getting spurious SMS?
More website shenanigans I think.
