Just as Air Asia is pulling its DRW-DPS service, Silk Air is now beginning service on the Darwin to Singapore route. Silk Air's website only has full fare economy prices loaded @ $1,000 return tickets and $600 OW tickets.
Bestflights has the following $589 retun a.i. fares:Not bad if you are going further than Singapore. Valid during the upcoming school holidays.

For those of us who live in the Bush or Darwin (the local market), $99 fares to Singapore during school holidays is a dream! Jetstar flights during school holidays are very pricey to SE Asia. This is another option for us.
