QF to do more J discounts

Noticed there are now 5 J fare types to Europe, expect to see some competitive pricing in the future, or now if you are in Perth with LHR via FRA going for $3K each way in J.

$4.5k ex East Coast to LHR ,$4.8k on the return.

If only they would offer more discounted J classes to LAX.

Whilst this is a better deal than may normally be available from Oz it is till nowhere near what can be had from UK ie recently got First return for $7K Yers dollars not pounds and then J for under $5k Yes Dollars under 5K Return.

Is it just me, or when you get to the review page, it says

"The requested cabin class is full or not available in at least one of the options listed below" ?

I.e PER-SIN and SIN-PER are in Y.

When I checked last month, appeared to be the same issue when booking from BA.com

Wonder if that includes the increased fuel surcharge, that doesn't come in 'til late February right? How much is this route normally?

Wish they had more discounts for SYD-EWR.

What dates are Fares EX Perth available for 6k return??

I am in the process of booking flights to the UK or Europe at the moment and MH is around $6200 (hoping they will be in oneworld by September) as I am about to hit Gold so want to fly one world.

I'm looking at Sep 14 and returning on Nov 1. Cheapest Price on QF website is 12k return

Don't count on MH being in OW by then - on the OW site it says "late 2012". I'd say that would mean getting closer to Nov/Dec - maybe Oct if we're lucky.
