Can I get GHA "priveleges" and QFF/ VFF points as well at a Mirvac hotel?

I'm planning on staying at a mirvac hotel and also signed up to Global Hotel Alliance which seems to provide credits to their loyalty program and also allows free internet and other stuff. Just wondering whether you can double dip and earn both GHA loyalty and accumulate FF points on Qantas / Velocity, or do you have to pick either GHA or one of the airlines. It's not that clear on the web.

Anyone know?

I tried it mate and they sometimes give you both sometimes dont. The sebel on Charlotte st in brisbane did for me once....then they ddint the next time. It can be a bit hit and miss.
