JQ only go up to 4.
For contrast AA go up to 7, QF go up to 9.
Doing a dummy booking and selecting seats may indicate a trend via the number of un/allocated seats.
Also the presence of availability in the cheaper fare buckets can help.

Quick question - am flying *C on JQ from SYD - HKT next week and checked availability on expert flyer.
I noticed that the max number for any JQ bucket appears to be 4. I assume that this is the JQ default max ?
Is this an EF aspect or JQ ? I note that other airlines range up to 9.
Is there any other way of assessing load ?

thanks.
good suggestion re dummy booking. so far, looks like a light load - had no problem with a dummy booking for 10 in *class.
