Clifford, I take your point. A lot of the content above could be found online. But a lot of it couldn't. Try and Google the EK Operating plan for 2011/2012 and see what you come up with?

And I believe we have the most up to date seating type by specific airframe (down to the actual reg number). So if you really did want to know what type of J seats your specific flight was operating, you could tell.

There is also no where on the web which talks about how EK process upgrades, or makes mention of EK's IO program. Nor is their a consolidated review of all the lounges, made by ac actual heavy premium traveller.

Is it advertising for EK? This is the EK thread is it not? I'm not going to apologise for pushing EK content here.

And hopefully over time, as more people contribute, the content will become more and more valuable.

• Yes did think of it as a form of advertising but found it extremely useful;
• Think maybe I would like to see this kind of info on all major air lines

My altar ego from another board has met eightblack and it would be fair to say, if nothing else, he is quite passionate about EK. I guess that passion comes across as advertising sometimes...
