Their story about "system upgrades" being the cause is ridiculous, after such a long time too. I'd call and complain, if there was a local number to talk to someone other that India.
I'm regretting keeping my DC as my only non QF-direct transfer card.....
If I can transfer my point, I'll be gone very soon I think!

Certainly if I could be sure Amex would do a regular special transferring to SPG then DC would get the flick.May anyway though Amex have started me out on a limit that wouldnt get me 1 DONE4 let alone 2 that i do.
The problems continue. The call of 11/12 fixed nothing so called again on 16/12.Was assured points would be credited that afternoon.48 hours later still no sign.A letter is next-does anyone have an email of a DC exec?

It seems likely that Citigroup is trying to sell the Australian DC business, as they have just done in Canada and the US. So Citigroup executives seem to show little interest in supporting their current Australian DC cardholders.

Re: Diners club-web problems?
Well the saga continues.Gave up the phone enquiries and wrote a letter.Miraculously it found a human. However the response was the points that appeared in September were all the points I was owed, only the december account outstanding and those were credited.
Strange that payments made in sept, oct, november after the points transfer dont count. So a follow up letter sent.
My mind is now made up.In july i will switch my Citi plat visa + DC to a plat Amex.July is when my cards expire.Dependent of course on getting all the rewards points I have earned!

Why delay? Only more pain and frustration, I say!!! It takes a maximum of 2 business days for my AMEX pts to T/F to Sq, HHonors, PC etc so I'm really impressed by Amex Plat (and all done online!!).
I haven't received any DC pts for the last 3 -4 months for my (only) remaining monthly $78 direct debit charge on my Diners. I'm in the (painful) process of transferring my remainder DC pts to SPG....then it will be completely sayonara to DC
PS: DC also have not send me a letter as they always do at the end of each year offering me 1.5 DC pts per $ spent in 2010 to make matters worse so it's back to 1 DC pts per $ spent!!

Yes I also have not received the letter for 1.5 points per $1 for 2010.As I pointed out in my letter if I only get 1 point per $1 spend on DC then my SPG points per $ will be the same if i have an Amex plat so no reason at all to remain with DC.Not cancelling yet as owed about 70000 points.

Re: Diners club-web problems?
Not sure if anyone is still watching this blog but would like to share my experience so far and hope for some guidance. It appears my problem is common and I have been told by DC all different excuses and ways to sort out my issue(s).
Generally I have not been able to access or sight my points since June 2009. I have been in contact with their customer relations people via 1300 360 060 many times since 21/1/10 and given a number of excuses as to why they are hiding my points. No-one there seems to really know what to do (I saw another blog which mentioned the staff are not allowed to have pens or paper!?).
I also called their business number (1300 656 689) and actually spoke to an Australian! He was very helpful and asked for a screen shot of the problem for their IT techs to check. But on the second call I was told I couldn't be helped as I was not one of their listed customers. He told me to call the Bangalore number and talk to someone more senior. Back in March I emailed Chris Zappone from the SMH who had an article on this and to date have not received a reply. I also tried one of the Melbourne radio stations and no result once again.
Is it better to write as someone has done?
It just appears, reading this blog and other web based blogs that they are with holding the points for financial reasons.
Like mentioned before, I also just want to get hold of the points and move them across to FF's as I have an overseas trip coming up with my son and the points will be very handy.

Re: Diners club-web problems?
Welcome biggles-my childhood hero.I came across all of the biggles books in a place just out of st. helens, tasmania 2 weeks ago.
Now on to Diners.I have had the same problem. In September 2009 they posted 3 months points after several phone calls. Then after several phone calls and 2 letters I had the points for Dec and January posted but none since.I have written 2 more letters-3 months and 1 month ago and no reply or points.in the last letter i told them i was applying liquidated damages-ie i have not used my DC and put everything i would have on Amex-still no reply.
it is very frustrating as i am trying to get to life Time platinum on AA-credit card points count in that program.DC is the best at maximising points to AA.I am giving them 2 weeks and then write a letter to the banking ombudsman with a copy to Citibank australia. If no response my citi Plat visa also gets cancelled.
My guess is that by the end of the year I will no longer have a DC or citi card and will upgrade Amex to a plat card.

thanks drron. It seems that DC only oil the noisiest wheels. But it appears we haven't hit the right nerves yet. I thought I was getting somewhere with the aussie 1300 number and can't believe there isn't someone more local to talk to. Plus surely there are many others out there with our problem?!
