In late October I ordered a couple of small gifts over the phone from Diners, recently I rang them to find out what had happened to them as it has been over a month awaiting delivery.
I was told my order had been cancelled as the suburb was incorrect, even though the address was to me personally.
So not a problem, I reordered the gifts only to be told they should arrive sometime in Jan 2011.
So why would you bother being a member if you cannot obtain rewards in a timely and professional manner.

Seems typical of Diners - there are many reports of such seeming incompetence.

Although they do get you into some nice lounges in LON and DXB...

In my case it says I can only transfer in multiples of 5000 points; which is a PITA as I currently have
about 3000 points "marooned" there and I don't use the card much these days.

Great, i have that and am going to transfer then out and not use my card anymore just keep it for whenever it might come good again, its just so slack after all these years of loyal service and now the brand is non existant here.
