60K points new Citi Platinum Approved

about 15 days ago, i called Citi to confirm the citi plat 60K bonus points and 1/2 annual fees first year deal. The person on the phone was not aware of this and after he kept me on hold for 15 minutes came back confirming that deal is available and he can help me apply for it.

I did the application over the phone and after 15 days, numerous emails, SMS and 5 calls to Citi, I got an email yesterday saying my application was approved and my card will be posted soon.

Now I am expecting that my account is not going to be setup correctly and my 60K bonus points won't be there - has anyone been in this situation? What do I have to look for and how do I have to approcah Citi to make sure that 60K points are available in the account?

Can anyone who has recently got this card tell me how long did it take for bonus points to show up? Any caveats to watch out for?

i have recieved the card and have been using it - but when i go to the rewards section of the website - it just says an error occured. Do we have to wait for the first bill to arrive? I can't see any points that I have earned or my bonus 60K either.

Generally with most award programs on credit cards you do need to wait for the 1st bill to arrive
