Not a bad fare at all, particularly nice if it's on their A380. Look forward to a TR. Would be nice to see them join OW

I'm surprised that this fare is not being advertised but I just scored a first class ticket from SYD to LHR (with stopovers in both directions) in October for about $9200. This is not even a companion fare and flights on their new A380 (only between KUL and LHR at this stage) are included. MAS' new A380s start flying in July but the single daily service only starts at the end of August (MH2/3). I'm hoping that, by October, MAS will also bring the A380 to SYD. I don't know when MAS will have enough A380s for the double daily flights between KUL and LHR but it should be happening by the end of the year. I'm also hoping that MAS will have become a full member of OneWorld by October!

MAS still haven't revealed what they're doing with the first class cabin on the A380s. I am dying to know! The only thing I know is that there are 8 seats arranged in 1-2-1 and only 2 rows. Sounds like it is potentially quite spacious.
Potentially they are Suites ala EK with those numbers. Now that would be seriously good for the price paid.
