I have a booking with Alamo in Los Angeles for 3 weeks and CDW and EP insurance is included in the price (US$670) but after doing some research on the internet I have seen other sites (consolidators) that include theft protection and uninsured driver protection in their all inclusive rates of US$770. My question is would I be better off going with a consolidator site or with Alamo direct, is this other insurance needed or included but not mentioned by Alamo? I have previously hired cars many times in the USA but only had CDW & EP/SLI in the past. Any help much appreciated!
