One More Night (to make my fare)

The State Premiers are in town for a high level meeting with the Prime Minister. I picked up one or two from the Hyatt to take for a short ride to The Commonwealth Club, where a dinner was being held in their honour. Just round the corner, really, but you can't expect such folk to walk.

I won't be back home for five weeks.

This is the one I've been dreaming about for a while. Not as long a trip as some in either distance or time, but it's up there for anticipation.

It's going to be a long Friday. April Fools Day, and we won't be able to relax until the agent hands over the van keys in San Francisco about noon.

The worst seats in my whole airline experience belong to Qantas. I hate them. Sit down in the lounge for the international transfer bus and my entire backside area becomes aware of the bones of the seat.
