Well, just a quick little note about my weekly Monday morning flight. It was with DJ this week. The Lounge was as good as usual. barista coffee was great. I finally opened my eyes and found the thin bread.

Once on board the flight it was of the usual standard. There were 2 gold velocity members on the flight and we both got our pre-boarding call - 100% on DJ. My usual early morning sleeping flight. Crew were professional and friendly. I told the welcome FA that I liked the new look. Later in the flight I tried something new - reading a book.

However, I did say once on board. The flight was delayed due to airtraffic control in Sydney. This delay is becoming to regular for mine. Clearly DJ have little control over this but the problem is that I need some consistency in getting to work. Being delayed 30 to 60 minutes just doesn't cut it. I'm really not sure of the answer but the parallel qantas flight with the same departure is rarely delayed.

Maybe this sounds like a whinge, but really I'm surprised at the poor service DJ seem to be getting compared to QF. Hopefully, these delays with DJ don't continue, I like flying with them (even if status costs more), I need consistency.
