Hi Guys. My friend and I have always wanted to be platinum. I will share below how I have (100sc short) reached platinum. My FF year is Jan - Jan. In Feb this year I did premium eco (fully paid) a380 return to singapore ex mel. That scored me 120sc. I also did a paid return trip to adelaide ex mel, which scored me 20sc. I then wanted to obtain silver, so did a JASA run points plus pay MEL-ADEL-ALICE SPRINGS-SYDNEY-MEL J CLASS. I did this in one day. This scored me 220 SC, and would reccomend ...
I'm traveling business class QF Mel to LHR. Whilst there I'm doing lots of BA domestic Legs in economy...Paris,Berlin,Amsterdam, LHR etc. I will ddef be a gold FF, however will probably be platinum, do people generally have trouble getting into lounges? Will Platinum ensure I can get into the gallerries lounge in LHR T3 for the business class flight home?
