Has anyone else heard about this?

I personally think this is crazy, you pay a $900 card fee per year plus this for booking fee per domestic travel - if I am reading this right?

    "A domestic flight-ticketing fee of $27.50 applies" "
"*Please note domestic ticketing fee includes New Zealand."

This is not very different from most other travel agencies. There is no money to be made from domestic/trans-tasman flights as Qantas gives 0% (?) commission for domestic and only a very small percentage for trans-tasman fares.

Is it right to charge when you're paying $900? I'm not sure. Maybe another reason why Platinum Charge card is becoming redundant.

BTW, with the way the Qantas website has changed, and other online booking systems exist, booking a domestic / trans-tasman trip is easy to do and I see negligible/no value in using a travel agent for the role.
