From what I understand the only Star Alliance lounges available at Sydney International is the Kris Flyer and the Air New Zealand Lounge? Am I correct? If so, can anyone advise on which one is better in terms of comfort, facility etc?
I've tried both, and with out any comment on the wine, I actually thought the krisflyer lounge at Sydney to have better food than Air NZ. If you are flying at a peak time, the air NZ lounge is much larger and easier to find a quiet spot.
That IS interesting...
In the past I have just automatically gone to the NZ lounge...
Flying on SQ on Saturday so this time I MUST check out the SQ facility... I'll certainly be in need of something to eat at that time....

Air New Zealand definitely. I've used both a number of times and the SQ lounge is always crowded and small. The ANZ lounge on the other hand is spacious and sophisticated. The front desk staff are wonderful. The food seems to come and go depending on the time of day (maybe related to New Zealand flights) and it is usually fresh given the volume of people going through the lounge. (This lounge seems to be used by all the other Star Alliance carriers (Air China, Thai, Asiana etc).
