CBA Diamond and QANTAS lounge.

Good evening all,

Just wondering, if I presented my CBA Diamond Awards Card and my boarding pass (regardless of the class I fly) on the day of my flight if I could gain access to the QANTAS lounge.

I have asked CBA and they passed the buck, QANTAS have not got back to me yet so I thought that I would ask everyone on here.

I don't see anything in the CBA diamond brochure, advertising or T&C to indicate that it provides any lounge access at all. I also don't see anything over at the QF site in relation to anything like this.

Something has brought you to this question though - what did you see that made you consider this might work?

I have heard that some cards give you access, thought that I might have been able to do it with CBA but it would be for only to those in the know as such

Oh right. I think only premium Amex cards are likely to work in this way (Centurion and the like), but even then, pretty sure even they don't work for QF lounges.

Not CBA Diamond (AFAIK - would be interesting if it was a benefit).

However, as it is a "World Mastercard", it does give you some other benefits such as Gold Starwood Preferred Guest status: MasterCard® World - Home
